Between us, we have more than 60 years' experience in the medical/aesthetic laser and IPL fields.
Our training covers both clinical treatments and theoretical considerations behind light-tissue interactions.
We have a lot of experience in treating people with all sorts of skin conditions, plus clinical research experience too.
We both come from a technical background and are keen to explain how the physical processes work in the skin so you have a much better understanding of the treatments and how they work.

About
We are The Laser-IPL Guys - Mike Murphy and PA Torstensson.
Mike launched the original Q-switched ruby laser across the world in 1990 following the ground-breaking clinical research in Glasgow, Scotland, while PA designed and developed the world's best IPL system in the late 90s and 2000s, in Gothenborg, Sweden.
They have both continued to research how lasers and IPLs can tackle some of the most difficult skin conditions, and they continue to write papers for medical laser journals while also presenting at international medical laser conferences.

Our Book
We are about to launch the first chapter of our book which explains much behind the science of laser-IPL interactions in various skin conditions like hair, blood vessels, pigmentation, tattoos, acne etc.
This will be an ebook so we can link to videos, animations and other web sites.
The first chapter will be available free of charge!! This is allow as many people as possible to gain access to it, and to begin their journey into the world of laser-IPL aesthetic treatments.
Subsequent chapters will be launched in 2021.
